Description

This combined package includes both the Level 1 Health & Safety in a Construction Environment online course and the fully accredited ETA Awards Online Invigilated Exam — giving you the qualification needed for your CSCS Green Card application.

Please note: To obtain a CSCS Green Card, you must also pass the separate CITB Health, Safety & Environment (HS&E) Test, which is not included in this package.

How it works

1. Complete the course

  • Fully online, self-paced (approx. 3–5 hours).
  • Accessible via any modern browser on desktop/laptop.
  • Approved by IIRSM & CPD.

2. Sit your online accredited exam

  • ETA Awards invigilated exam taken from home via webcam and screen share.
  • No need to visit a test centre.

Technical requirements for the exam

  • In-date photo ID with date of birth.
  • Windows or Mac computer (no mobiles, tablets, or Chromebooks).
  • Google Chrome or Firefox browser.
  • Broadband internet (min. 3Mb download / 1.5Mb upload; recommended 5Mb upload).
  • Working webcam & microphone (headsets removed during the exam).
  • Screen share & webcam permissions enabled.
  • All other programs and browser tabs closed.

Certification

    • Pass the exam and your results are sent to the awarding body.
    • Certificate emailed to you within 7–10 working days.
    • This certificate, plus a pass in the CITB HS&E Test, is required for your CSCS Green Card application.
