Legionella Awareness and Control
Under the Health and Safety at Work Act and the HSE’s updated code of practice, L8, employers and building owners are legally required to manage the risks associated with Legionella bacteria in their premises. This interactive training course is designed to help all staff—especially those responsible for water systems—understand the dangers posed by Legionella, identify potential sources of risk, and implement effective control measures to ensure water system safety.
The course will equip you with the knowledge needed to either establish your own Legionella control programme or confidently commission external professionals to manage it. You’ll learn how to assess and mitigate Legionella risks, ensuring compliance with the relevant legislation and safeguarding the health of those who use your facilities.
