First Aid At Work Re-Qualification
The Qualsafe First Aid at Work Re-Qualification course is for those who already hold a valid First Aid at Work certificate and need to renew it for another three years. It updates essential knowledge and practical skills so you remain confident and compliant in the workplace.
Who can attend?
- Learners with a current First Aid at Work certificate.
- Workplace first aiders needing to maintain compliance.
Course content includes:
- The re-qualification course covers all the key areas from the original First Aid at Work syllabus, including:
- Assessing an incident and managing an emergency
- CPR and use of an AED (defibrillator)
- Dealing with unconscious casualties
- Choking, seizures, and shock
- Wounds, bleeding, and burns
- Fractures, sprains, and spinal injuries
- Chest injuries, eye injuries, and head injuries
- Major illnesses such as heart attack, stroke, epilepsy, asthma, and diabetes
Duration: 2 days (12 contact hours)
Assessment: Practical and written assessments
Certification: Qualsafe Awards Level 3 Award in First Aid at Work (RQF), valid for 3 years
