This awareness course is designed for individuals who need to understand the hazards and risks of working in or near confined spaces, but do not need to enter a confined space themselves. You will learn the key legislation, safe operating procedures, emergency protocols, and rescue techniques that are essential for working in and around confined spaces.

It covers the definition of a confined space, the associated dangers, and the necessary safety precautions to follow when working near or inside such environments. The course also explores the emergency response procedures that must be in place in case of an incident.

Important Note: This course does not provide practical training for working inside a confined space. If your role requires you to enter or work directly within a confined space, additional hands-on training at the appropriate level will be required.
