Course Aims and Objectives

To advise on the Responsible Persons Duties within the Regulatory Reform (Fire safety) Order 2005.

Content

The course content will include:
¨ An overview of both present and past fire legislation
¨ Understanding why there is a need to plan and manage fire safety
¨ Understanding of the term “Responsible Person” and the duties imposed
¨ Awareness of the main requirements of the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005
¨ Basic understanding of fire risk assessment and what it entails

Maximum Number of Candidates

The maximum number of candidates for this course is 14.

Venue

This course can be carried out at our training centre in Stockton or at a venue of your
choice providing all necessary facilities and equipment are available.
