Plant Training and Assessment

As a Construction Skills/CPCS accredited training provider and a City and Guilds Assessment Centre, Northern Safety can offer the full range of CPCS (Construction Plant Competence Scheme) plant training and plant NVQ qualifications, as well as our own in-house training and assessment.

All plant operators must complete a Plant Operators Construction Skills Health & Safety test every two years. Northern Safety can offer plant operators a smooth passage into the CPCS Plant Operators Scheme and assistance with any problems that may be encountered with renewals.

During the summer of 2007 Northern Safety established a joint training centre in Middlesbrough in association with Sarens UK Ltd to provide high quality training for all their clients. Examples of training courses on offer are Crawler and Mobile Crane, Slinger/Signaller and MEWP Boom.
