Introduction

Northern Safety Limited is committed to providing the effective delivery of information, advice and guidance to learners and clients. Implicit within this commitment is that we will support them to make informed decisions based upon their actual needs.

Aims

The aim of our policy is to provide information, impartial advice and guidance relating to the services that we provide. We will monitor the quality of the services that we provide by obtaining feedback from users of our services.

Our Goals

Our goals are based upon the 10 Principles implicit within the 8 elements of the matrix Standard. Our information, advice and guidance should be
Accessible and clearly defined by learners and clients.
Impartial and objective such that learners and clients are supported in making informed decisions based upon their needs and circumstances.
Friendly and welcoming so that learners and clients engage successfully with the service.
Provided by staff who are competent to identify the learner and clients needs quickly and effectively.
Responsive to learner and client needs in respect of the services offered.
Consistent with the diversity of the learner and clients needs.
To have clear links between IAG services from the clients perspective.
The IAG services to be targeted to the needs of the clients.
To encourage clients to become lifelong learners by assisting them to access IAG services.
Our clients to be aware of the IAG services that are relevant to them and have well informed expectations of those services.

Standards of Service

Clearly defined services that comply with relevant legislation, codes of practice and ethics.
A clear explanation of the cost of training and consultancy services that we offer.
Be responsive to client’s requests for information in a timely and professional manner.
Deal with complaints and suggestions in a quick and efficient manner and where appropriate instigate corrective action to prevent recurrence.
Encourage our clients to provide suggestions on how we can improve our services.
Comply with the 8 principles of Data Protection Act.
