Fire Warden / Fire Marshall Training

Duration: 3 to 4 hours; depending on students & whether practical fire extinguisher demonstration is
required. (All extinguishers must be provided by the client)

Who Should Attend?

Nominated competent persons who have a responsibility for implementing the company fire
evacuation procedure. It is also suitable for persons who have a direct responsibility for developing or improving existing evacuation procedures to maintain effectiveness in a changing work environment.

Course Aims and Objectives

By the end of this course, the delegates will:
· Understand the main requirements of the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005.
· Have a basic understanding on the Theory of Combustion, Fire Spread & Extinguishing Fires.
· Know the types of Fire Risk.
· Have a basic understanding of Fire Detection and Alarm Systems.
· Be able to identify the types of Fire Extinguisher available and their use.
· Understand the basic principles of Means of Escape.

Training Method
