Fire Awareness

Half Day.

 

Who Should Attend?

The course is aimed at all staff (particularly new employees) in all workplaces, to help them identify and reduce the risks from fire in the workplace.

 

Course Aim

 

To increase the individuals awareness of fire safety within the workplace.

 

Course Objectives

 

At the end of the training the individual will have a greater knowledge of:

 

  • Theory of fire/heat/smoke.
  • Fire prevention.
  • In-built Fire Safety within your workplace.
  • Action on discovering fire.
  • Tackling fire.
  • Fire extinguishers.
  • Evacuation and Means of Escape.

 

Training Method

This is a classroom based course.

 

Maximum Number of Candidates

The maximum number of candidates for this course is 12.

 

Venue

This course can be carried out at our training centre in Stockton or at a venue of your choice providing all necessary facilities and equipment are available.
