SITE SAFETY PASSPORT

Who Should Attend?

This course is designed to provide a nationally recognised Certificate of Training and Competence
for contractors and is aimed at all contractor personnel.

Course Objectives

Successful completion of the course will enable the participants to:
· Show an awareness of the need for safe working practices and apply them in the
workplace
· Demonstrate a knowledge of common health and safety hazards
· Demonstrate a basic knowledge of current safety legislation
Content
· Introduction to health and safety law, work permits
· Safe working practices
· Safe access and egress
· Accident and first aid procedures
· COSHH and PPE
· Safe manual handling
· Noise – hazards and prevention
· Safe working – cranes and heavy equipment
· Safe working – excavations
· Fire
· Vibration

Maximum Number of Candidates

The maximum number of delegates for this course is 12.

Venue

This course can be carried out at our training centre in Thornaby or at a venue of your choice
providing all necessary facilities and equipment are available.

Equipment Required (when carrying out training on site)

Classroom area with electricity supply and enough tables and chairs to seat all candidates
comfortably and allow our Instructor to set up there training equipment.
